March Reflections

  1. Listening to this playlist on Spotify. It's been my go-to playlist for this month.
  2. Seeing the importance of being mindful of the words I say and how I speak to people, even if it's just in jest. I want to be more intentional about building up those around me, encouraging them and affirming them (while being careful not to give empty praise ).
  3. Reading Let The Nations Be Glad by John Piper. This book has offered incredible perspective into missional living and what that means.
  4. Learning that God is who He says He is. He is good. He is Faithful. He is my Provider. He is my Protector. Everything that I am, will be or could hope to be is secure in Him. There is incredible hope and peace in coming to this realization.
  5. Wanting to explore more independent coffee shops in Toronto, preferably with a good friend. Quality coffee shop heart conversations give my heart joy.
  6. Thinking through what it means to be in a Christ - centred romantic relationship. A good number of my friends have been entering into this new season of intentional relationship and it has been humbling seeing and learning from their experiences. But I have put up walls and barriers for so long out of fear (for a number of reasons) that the process of healing and understanding is taking a while. And I am learning to be OK with that.
  7. Feeling excited about my graduation coming up and getting to celebrate that milestone with the people I love the most in this world. June can't get here fast enough!
  8. Loving my new Blundstones. It feels so good to own a quality pair of winter boots!
  9. Looking forward to moving to Ottawa this September to start my internship with Power to Change - Students!
